Your browser may not support display of this image. Pebbles and Stones is a cross-generational Christian movement that intentionally seeks to bring the generations together. If you were to attend a Pebbles and Stones meeting, you would see the generations giving to and receiving from each other. In this atmosphere personal growth and intimacy with God and others is realized. The Pebbles and Stones groups meet in huts, under trees, in open fields, neighborhood homes, churches, and just about any place where the generations assemble.

The participants of Pebbles and Stones intentionally seek to live the great commandment, loving God and each other, in the communities and or neighborhoods in which they live. As they do, they begin to begin fulfill the great commission of going and making disciples of all nations.

Pebbles and Stones Invites you to:

  • Learn the key critical steps to leading a Pebbles and Stones meeting.
    • Beginning your group
    • Leading the journal pray time
    • Using preventative discipline measures.
    • Encouraging the singing of “new songs”
    • Connecting the generations together
  • Gain a full understanding of the spiritual benefits an intergenerational meeting
    • Healing of broken hearts
    • Praying for each other
    • Mentoring
    • Devotional time of hearing God’s voice
  • Walk through a sample meeting
    • Interactive hands on experience of a meeting
    • Experience the ease of developing community among the participants

Corporate Prayer: Praying in Community

Learning from Others in Community Prayer by Andrew Wheeler I went to a seminar today at Light & Life Ministries in Elgin. The speaker was Phil Miglioratti (see my previous post) and the topic was primarily raising up more effective prayer in our churches. The entire seminar was incredible - if you ever get a chance to attend one of Phil’s seminars, I highly recommend it. But the point of this post is how uniquely he emphasized the importance of praying in community. Praying in community is important for many reasons, several of which I cover in the book. But Phil emphasized one today that I hadn’t considered before, and that’s how we learn from each other when we pray together. I’ve often said that prayer is more than we think it is because God himself is bigger than we can possibly imagine.
